誠信是關公雕塑被神化的根本嗎

中國自古就有將道德誠信作為信仰的訴求，比如民間對“關公雕塑的崇拜”就是對誠信、仗義的“神化”。那么關公被神化全部都是因為誠信嗎？他之所以被神化誠信是其根本嗎？

誠信是儒家的道德追求。本來打仗與行商是兩回事，由于關羽以信義卓著，打通了誠信與仁義二者的界限。于是，手握大刀的關羽被后來的商家視為“善財之神”。

Honesty is the moral pursuit of Confucianism. Originally, fighting war was different from doing business. Because Guan Yu was outstanding in his faith and righteousness, he broke the boundary between honesty and benevolence. As a result, Guan Yu, who held a broadsword, was regarded by later merchants as the "God of Wealth".

中國人歷來恪守儒家的“君子喻于義，小人喻于利”的教誨，關羽是“言必信，行必果”的君子，所以贏得社會的信任和敬仰，至此關羽的誠信得到了社會的廣泛的認同。這也正是其后來被神化的思想根據。
